Incredible and neccesary information for students and university teachers and science men!!!
This is an interesting book and it has amazing facts that I never knew about.
I did not know that this book was written by a Christian organization - I would have never bought it had I known!
Prepare to be amazed. This and the first book are so packed full of wonder and amazement. We recommend them and have even given as a gift.
I'm just so thankful that we have dudes like Mr. Landis doing and compiling research like this in the world today. Ancient humanity were hard working, creative, resourceful, industrious and seemingly smarter than us in light of the technological starting points from which they were beginning. Fun reading.
The ancient civilizations highlighted in the book are appealing and should engage readers of various interest levels; as the underlying theme connects the sequential cultural eras to the continuous sinfulness of man. Not fatally stopping short there, the hope, that is CHRIST, is presented as a looming light over all of history.

The connection of ancient philosophical themes with those very themes that are contemporary to our times. There is truly not anything new under the sun.
The views expressed in this book concerning the Tower of Babel and the mentality and the philosophy behind man's Rebellion to God I believe are put together in a simplified format that anyone who takes the time to understand can benefit from. As a Christian who believes in the inerrant word of God I also agree with the surmise of this book that it is God it was the measure of all things and not man. Amen to that.
